MM#2 Kristian Stanfill At Ole Miss

Kristian Stanfill At Ole Miss

Currently there are more than 27 million people trapped in present day slavery. Among these people are little girls and boys who are trafficked for sexual exploitation and worked in factories, men and women who are abused and captured to be enslaved as labor workers. This injustice happens all over the world, even in the United States of America. 27 million people are living with no hope of escape or a future.
Modern day slavery was the main focus of Passion 2012 where university students raised over $3 million dollars for the FREEDOM cause to free slaves, restore their lives and prevent slavery. The University of Mississippi has many students getting involved. The president of fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon helped organize a free concert targeted to raise awareness. The Christian musician Kristian Stanfill will be playing at the Lyric Wednesday, April 18th benefiting the 72 days of freedom. Free admission is offered with a student ID, but Sigma Phi Epsilon and North Oxford Baptist church sold T-shirts, CD’s and excepted donations in hopes of raising money to help rescue people who are enslaved and restore their lives.
