Humane Society Finding Homes

The Oxford Lafayette Humane Society is a private, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other local or national organization. The Humane Society has housed for over 30 years abandoned, lost, homeless, and unwanted animals.
Oxford Lafayette Humane Society provides shelter for every animal they receive. They also have adoption services and faster homes. The humane society investigates incidents of animal cruelty, neglect, and abandonment.
The society promotes responsible pet ownership by advocating spay/neuter, permanent identification, and the humane and compassionate treatment of animals. They recommend strongly contacting them immediately if there is any witness of abused, neglect or abandonment.

After two visits of volunteer work, I adopted my first dog, Lola, from their adoption services.”
They rely on generous donations from supporters and community fundraising. The Humane Society is not operated by any national humane groups so the strongly rely on people like you to being services to the community.
