Gavin DeGraw Heads to the Grove

Gavin Degraw will be having a free convert Thursday, April 19 in the Grove.   Craig Morgan will be the opening act.

The show beigns at 8:30 p.m. and is sponsored by the Ole Miss Student Programming Board and the Department of Campus Programming.

Students wanted a big star like DeGraw, so the concert is expected to be a huge hit.  Last years free concert in the Grove had the Goo Goo Dolls and it was a huge success.  The Programing Board is hoping for similar success. 

“I have been waiting all year for the concert I can not wait.  I think it’s great Ole Miss puts on concerts like this for free for us students.  Gavin is such a huge star it will be really fun,” Freshmen, Hallie Elder said.

DeGraw has had numerous singles over his career, which began in 2003.  “Chariot”, “In Love With a Girl”, and “Not Over You” are just some of his extremely popular singles. 

“I have heard of a huge crowd coming out Thursday night it is going to be packed.  Great way to start off my weekend,” student Marian Allen said.

If turn outs are as great as last years concert, this will be a amazing event.
