Double Decker Weekend is Here!
Oxford, Mississippi's Double Decker Arts Festival is finally here. The long anticipated weekend that is celebrating music, food, the arts has arrived. The two- day event will be this weekend, Friday, April 27 thru Saturday April 28 in downtown Oxford. There food, music and art for free all day long. Friday night music will be provided by Charlie Mars, Deer Tick, and Iron and Wine at the Caterpillar Main Stage. Saturday music will be available at Caterpillar Main Stage with Rooster Blues, Star and Micey, Grace Askew Mavis Staples, and more performing. Local bands of Oxford will also be performing on Saturday as well on Van Bueren Avenue. Food will be be a showcase of some of the communities favorite places. Some vendors include Abners Famous Tenders, Chick-Fil-A, Domino's Pizza, Funkys, Sno Biz, and even more. Art vendors will be present Friday and Saturday for attendees and the square fair will have enough activities to keep children and parents entertained.
