Ole Miss Traditions
There are several Ole Miss traditions that students try to cross their bucket-list.  Touching the “O” in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, visiting the Tunnels in Oxford, and going to see the insanity of Graceland Too.
Graceland Too is a small pink house in Holly Springs, Mississippi where a 70 year old man by the name of Paul McLeod runs a tourist spot.  McLeod is an avid Elvis Presley fan and has collected memorabilia, merchandise, and music for years.  He has everything on display at his home and it is now known as a must see for Ole Miss students.
Newspaper cutouts, figurines, and vinyls line wall to wall, floor to floor in this eccentric shine to Elvis.  Eli Allen, a freshman at Ole Miss, visited and told me of his experiences, “There was an electric chair and Mr. McLeod said he had a son named Aaron Elvis Presley McLeod.  It’s twenty-four seven any day he will give you a tour.” More than the house it seems, its proprietor is the main attraction.  McLeod is as odd as they come, “He is kind of crazy.  He kept calling me ‘foxy lady.’  He drinks nothing but coke and it makes him really horny,” said Amanda Carpenter a freshman at Ole Miss.
To visit Graceland Too it costs a five dollar cover charge, but if you visit three times you receive a lifetime membership and can officially visit the Elvis museum as often as you like for free.  Paul McLeod has a MySpace which he uses to advertise www.myspace.com/therealgracelandtoo
