Updating Ole Miss Technology

            With the new Ole Miss iPad app, Ole Miss students are more in touch with their campus. Students can find out what is going on in the news, as well as finding out what alumni, faculty, students and athletes are up to.

            You can figure out the weather and get feed from Twitter, scores, and photos also on this new app. Many students that have been interviewed have really enjoyed this new app over the old one. Freshman, Kellon Duff tells us, “I am glad they updated this app and I think it is nice to have everything on one app. Now I don’t have to go searching for a million different things I want to know because it is all right there.”

            Rebel Radio was also another inventive addition to the app. Listeners can request songs and listen wherever they go.

            Ole Miss keeping up with the new technology is a smart idea. Every day something new is happening and students are always wanting to know what is going on around campus. We are living in an iPad, iPhone, iMac world.
